Free  and precise volume positioning

With OP300 there is no need to compromise with FOV positioning. Horizontally, FOV can be positioned freely from the user interface. Vertically, free FOV positioning is achieved by motorized movements of the chinrest.

Precise positioning starts from the OP300 familiar, accurate and stable patient positioning. Correct FOV location can be verified with the help of SMARTVIEW™ scout functionality.

Confident diagnostics

OP300 Maxio has five quality optimized FOV sizes. For each FOV size it is possible to choose between different resolutions, high resolution, standard resolution or Low Dose Technology™ resolution. Smallest FOV includes also endo resolution (85µm) to offer accuracy needed in endodontics.

Treatment plans can be made with confidence knowing that OP300 Maxio masters the details.

Upgradeable platform

OP300 is designed and built as an expandable platform. For OP300 Maxio cephalometric option is available. Cephalometric can be left- or right-sided to ensure optimal system performance and ease of use and it is field upgradeable. Unit handedness can be also changed in the field.

OP300 can truly grow with your practice and be tailored to your preferences.

A new member of the legendary product family

The first ORTHOPANTOMOGRAPH® unit, introduced over 50 years ago, was a revolutionary groundbreaker and pacesetter for dental X-ray imaging. Today, ORTHOPANTOMOGRAPH® product line is regarded as the leading brand in the X-ray imaging world and often used as a benchmark for other X-ray units. The decades of our experience in imaging is combined in ORTHOPANTOMOGRAPH® OP300, for your benefit.

We care for your patients’ well-being

As the original inventor of the ORTHOPANTOMOGRAPH®, we have always strived to give our customers the very best tools to succeed.

OP300 Maxio users greatly benefit from versatile selection of volumes and available resolutions, as well as the precise and free positioning of the volume. OP300 Maxio truly gives the possibility to choose the smallest possible volume along with the appropriate resolution based on the indication.

In addition OP300 Maxio users have the luxury of using Low Dose Technology™ (LDT) that provides quality optimized images for a very low dose. This technology provides low dose scans while keeping the clinical value still intact. LDT is ideal for sensitive cases such as children, follow-up, even implant planning or any other case where maximum resolution is not required.

Control without compromise

Five image quality optimized field-of-views enable confident diagnosis of entire maxillofacial region.

There is no need to compromise with FOV positioning. FOV location can be positioned freely both horizontal and vertical directions, with ease and confidence.

Additionally, true FOV position can be verified with SMARTVIEW™ scout before taking the actual CBCT image.

Even the smallest FOV can be efficiently and precisely positioned with the help of intuitive user interface, SMARTVIEW™ and free FOV positioning.

5 FOV’s with precise positioning

5 x 5 cm – FOV optimized for single site implants or localized diagnostics, keeping the patient dose at a substantially reduced level.
6 x 8 cm – FOV covers the complete dental arch for multiple implant placement and allows for the use of surgical guides.
8 x 8 cm – FOV covers the entire dentition, including both mandibula and maxilla as well a portion of maxillary sinus.
8 x 15 cm – FOV covers both mandibula and maxilla including airway and upper cervical spine or the sinus. Both TM joints can be also studied
13 x 15 cm – FOV covers the entire maxillofacial region. This FOV is optional.

Resolution for each indication

Low Dose TechnologyTM (LDT) scan can be utilized in dose sensitive cases and control or follow-up situations where maximum resolution is not required.

Standard resolution scan takes only 10 seconds with exposure time only 2.3 seconds with optimized patient dose.

High resolution scan offers extremely sharp images for more detailed diagnosis.

Endo resolution scan is available 5 x 5 cm FOV featuring 85 μm voxel size and MAR. Endo scan is tool designed for endodontic as well as other applications were extreme accuracy is required.

Low Dose Technology™

With OP300 Maxio users have the luxury of using Low Dose Technology™ (LDT) that provides quality optimized images for a very low dose. This technology provides low dose scans while keeping the clinical value still intact. LDT is ideal for sensitive cases such as children, follow-up, even implant planning or any other case where maximum resolution is not required.

Metal artifact reduction (MAR) tool

For implant or endodontic cases where metal artifacts are present, the metal artifact reduction tool (MAR) can be used for optimized images.

Precise and free FOV positioning

For precise positioning and eliminating the risk of retake exposures a two-dimensional SMARTVIEW™ scout image can be taken before the CBCT examination. From the scout image the position of the volume can be verified or corrected if needed. The free FOV positioning both horizontal and vertical directions supports versatile usage of the unit.

Selected FOV can be freely positioned to mandibula, maxilla, sinus, airways,TMJ or ENT regions.
