MAP DESIGN PAPER COMPETITION 2008
Map Suomi Oy has organized an Design Paper Competition yearly, since 2000. All printed matters which are printed on design papers and sold by Map Suomi Oy, can participate the competition. There is no entry fee charged. The job must have been printed between January 1st, 2008 and December 31, 2008. Entries can be any kind of printed matter from business card, brochures, books to packaging.
At year 2008 there was totally 94 printed matters who competed of the main prize, an educational papermill visit to Europe. The jury of the competition is formed of three Graphic Designers and one graphic professional of printing or bookmaking industry.
Year 2008 was successful in the amount of entries. Winners where easily selected from these 94 printed matters. The three winners where a great example of innovative utilization of design papers, which is exactly the theme and spirit of this competition. Paper really matters!
